Welcome to Menangle Park Paceway

Australasia's newest harness racing track is set to roar when racing returns to Menangle Park Paceway in early June. More than just a racetrack Menangle Park is a social event every week. The sensational new facilities and track are sure to make Menangle Park Australia's premier harness racing track.

Family Fun Day

It will be a family fun day at Menangle Park on Sunday, July 20. To coincide with the running of the inaugural WATPAC NSW Breeders Challenge Finals for two-year-olds, the Club has organised free entertainment for children.

There will be a jumping castle, pony rides, giant slides, face painting, a merry-go-round, free fairy floss and much, much more, including action from the mini trotters.

On top of the variety of activities for the children, a great day of racing has been planned for the adults, which will feature some of the best juvenile talent in the country.

While a big day is planned, it won’t be as big as the official opening, which attracted over 16,000 people.

“The opening day was fantastic and went off without any difficulties, however, we aren’t expecting as big a crowd on WATPAC Breeders Challenge day,” NSWHRC Chief Executive, John Dumesny said.

“We are gearing up for a big day but there will be plenty of space for the children to run around, as well as for mums and dads to bring their families and be comfortable.

“I encourage families to venture out to our new track on July 20 and to bring their picnic baskets and blankets and enjoy a great day out.

“I must stress, however, that no alcohol can be bought onto the racecourse.

“There is plenty of parking and we have addressed the traffic congestion situation also.”

Admission for adults is only $10, with senior card holders paying $5 and children under 16 FREE if accompanied by an adult. Gates open at 10am with the first race scheduled to start just after
12noon.
